In 1954, Doris Cardani decided that she needed a hobby when her children started school. She enjoyed sewing, and someone asked if she could make draperies. “Of course I can!” she said, and the rest is history. Doris turned a hobby into a lifetime of quality, uniqueness and beauty for the windows of everyone she worked for.

65 years later, her business is still flourishing in New Philadelphia, Ohio and is owned and operated by her daughter, Jeannie Cardani Stringer. In addition to custom made draperies, Cardani’s has a 25-year relationship with Hunter Douglas Blinds and Shades.

Cardani window treatments can be found in homes across the country, in states such as Florida, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, and Montana, as well as many businesses and homes in their home state of Ohio.
